Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 22, 2026

Rocket Sloth (“we”, “us”) provides ad monetization for publisher websites through MCP tools and web signup/login at rocketsloth.ai. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is used. It is written for the service as it actually works today.

1. Who this covers

This policy applies to publishers and agents who use Rocket Sloth (applications, MCP tools, integration assets, and related emails), and to data processed when ads are served on publisher sites that use our tag.

2. Publisher application data

When you apply, we collect:

We use this to create and operate your publisher account, review your site, and communicate about your application and account.

3. Auth tokens

We issue application tokens and API tokens so your agent can authenticate. Tokens are stored hashed at rest. We do not store the raw token after issuance (except when a new token is shown once at creation or recovery).

4. Ad-serving data

When ads are requested on a publisher site, we process technical data needed to serve ads, prevent fraud, and measure impressions. That typically includes IP address, user agent, page URL, and ad-unit context.

Advertising partners (demand partners, including Google) may process this data to serve and measure ads. Where required, consent management applies (for example GDPR and CCPA) via the consent tools in the ad stack.

5. Reporting and earnings

We process reporting and earnings data associated with your publisher account so you (and your agent) can see revenue, traffic, and payout status through the MCP tools.

6. Recovery emails

If account access is recovered, we send a verification code to the contact email on file. We use that email only for account ownership verification and related account notices.

7. Sharing with advertising partners

We share data with demand and advertising partners solely to serve, measure, and pay for ads. We do not sell publisher contact data.

8. Retention

Account data is kept while the account is active. Publishers can contact us to close an account. After closure, we retain only what we must keep for legal, fraud-prevention, or accounting reasons, then delete or anonymize the rest.

9. Security

We use industry-standard controls appropriate to an online service (including hashed credentials and TLS in transit). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; if you believe there is a vulnerability, email us.

10. Your choices

You can update contact details through the account tools, recover access via emailed codes, and request account closure by contacting us. End-user ad privacy choices on publisher sites are handled through the consent experience where it applies.

11. Changes

If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of the service after the update means the revised policy applies.
